Things I like:
I like the Blemish Clearing Serum (although I'm still experiencing some breakouts, but they are less). I also really like the Green Apple Peel. I did like the regular Antioxidant, but I stopped using it when I got some PSF stuff. And I really like the Green Apple Cleanser ... love the smell and it's not drying to my skin.

Things that weren't right for me:
I didn't like the Sheer Moisture SPF30 too much ... it went on a bit white (although once it sank into your skin it looked normal) and had a real "green" smell to it. I think it made me a bit more shiny throughout the day as well.

Overall, I really like their products!

I didn't like the Sheer Moisturizer SPF30 either. It left a whitish film on my face. I really have to rub it in but sometimes I still get those white marks. It's really gross. I also didn't like the consistency that much. Yeah...I noticed the "extra" shine too. I would say no to that moisturizer. The regular cleansing gel is pretty good too (I haven't tried the Green Apple one). It removed all my makeup and didn't make my skin feel tight.

My 3 Juice Beauty Must-Haves are the Blemish Serum, Green Apple Peel, and the Green Apple Cleanser. The toner, however, is on my must-try list--- I've heard good things about it!

I love the green apple peel, although it is the only Juice Beauty product I have tried so far. I have heard excellent things about the blemish serum though.

I just got an email from Medi-spastore. They have 40% off there clearance items and there is some Juice Beauty listed. I saw the green apple peel and the blemish clearing serum.

I cast my vote for their Lip Plumper which I love as a overnight moisturizing treatment and/or everyday lip balm but which SUCKS in terms of plumping ability, but anyway...

Since the consensus seems to be the Green Apple Peel, I just wanted to point out that you can get a “generic” version of it at CVS pharmacies under the brand name “Juice Organics” that is actually MADE BY the Juice Beauty folks for a fraction of the cost!! (Note to self: check if CVS also has the generic version of their lip plumper). I haven’t tried the original JB Green Apple Peel nor the low-rent version (yet!) but it was actually a JB rep that was doing a demo at my local Sephora store that I overheard sharing this info with another customer so I presume it to be true....What a coincidence – I need to stop at CVS tonight to pick up an Rx so I guess I’ll be tossing a tube of this apple peel into my basket while I’m at it. But before I do, would someone mind telling me what this apple peel is actually supposed to do?! What kind of results can I expect and/or what type of skin do you ladies have that already use it?

Anyway, just thought I’d share ‘cuz you know I’m all about saving $$$ whenever possible! Very Happy

TIA,
Carrie

I found reference to the Juice Organics line (the one at CVS) in some posts here a day or so ago. Someone did a test on her hubby, JB on one half of his face, JO on the other half. He felt that the JB tingled more and was more effective than the JO one.

I was looking at the CVS product today, I'm pretty sure that I didn't see the lip product but then again I couldn't even remember what I came in there to buy in the first place Shock you should probably check for yourself lol.

If someone would post the ingredient list for the JB apple peel, I will post the list for the generic version when I buy mine so we can compare the ingredients to see if the formulas are the same/similar.

Ingredients for Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel:

Organic Hydroxy-Acid Juice Solution of Pyrus Malus Juice (apple, malica), Citrus Medica Limonum Juice & Vitis Vinifera Juice (lemon, citric, white grape, tartaric), Organic Raw cane sugar (glycolic), Salix Alba Extract (willow bark, salicylic), Organic Milk Peptides (lactic), Organic Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Glycerin, Hydroxypropyl Starch Phosphate, Sodium Hydroxide, Organic Algae Extract, Sclerotium Gum, Tocopheryl Acetate & Tocopherol (vitamin E), Ascorbyl Palmitate (vitamin C), Retinyl Palmitate (vitamin A), Phospholipids, Magnesium Aspartate, Zinc Gluconate, Copper Gluconate, Phenoxyethanol, Benzyl Alcohol, Potassium Sorbate, Tetrasodium EDTA, Xantham gum, Azulene, Citrus Reticulata (mandarin), Litsea Cubeba & Cinnamomum Camphora Pure Essential Oils (may chang, ho wood)

What it does for me:
Fades leftover red marks/pigmentation from overzealous extractions or bad blemishes, makes your skin extremely soft, causes immediate mild peeling (mostly only the pigmented/problem areas for me). It causes temporary redness but the next day you wake up with an overall improvement in the tone/clarity of your skin, and it is extremely soft.

I stopped at my 24-hour CVS store on the way to work and picked up my Juice Organics Apple Peel but – unfortunately – they don’t have a ‘bootleg’ version of my beloved Juice Beauty Lip Plumper as of yet. Crying or Very sad I guess that means I’ll have to stop at Sephora again in the next few days to pick up another tube as my first one is nearly gone after I’ve been decanting numerous samples for friends and EDS/MUA members. *CareKate immediately brightens at thought of another trip to Sephora*

Okay, thanks! I'll compare the ingredients to my imposter and let y'all know if they are identical.

One other thing: is the Apple Peel the only thing you use to exfoliate your skin or do you have any other masks/scrubs/peels that you use regularly along WITH the apple peel?

I have only used it twice so far, but I do follow it with Burts Orange Essence Cleanser and a hot washcloth to help exfoliate. So that's the only thing I use At the time of the peel. Daily I also use a GA/SA and motorized facial brush, in addition to the Burts.

this is day 6 using the green apple peel and blemish clearing serum for me. so far these are the only two products from Juice Beauty in my line-up.

my skin is oily and maybe that's why I don't feel anything when the green apple peel is on-no tingling and no sign of redness after 15min (or even 30min but don't leave it on that long the first time you try it!). I've used the peel 5x now (1x weekly are the directions) and 2x daily I use the blemish serum. finally today I can say my skin looks a little flushed and will slow down on the green apple peel. it just smells soooo nice. plus my skin feels really good. think it's time to break my peel * spam alert *.

Roadbee, you've been using the Green Apple Peel on a daily basis for 5 days? Ouch! Shock I have super oily skin but that peel makes my face sting and red. I don't think I would be able to handle it more than once a week. You've got some pretty strong skin. Smile How does your skin look?

hi Yen,

I don't recommend going against the manufacturer's directions.

after no adverse/sensitive effects the first time I pushed it further. the results were so nice. however, now my face is looking just slightly flushed. you know what they say about too much of a good thing...

the last time I used it, there was still no tingling sensation. I even inspected the jar to see if it was maybe the sensitive peel instead. anyway I won't use it again till next week. and to answer your question, my skin has a nice glow about it. there are still a couple of old blemish discolourations but they are lighter. it doesn't feel sensitive or raw, just soft. what do you think, maybe the batches were reversed!

Okay, I used my Juice Organics imposter version for the first time last evening and I have to say that I’m not overly impressed. I get much better results (the exact same benefits all y’all are reporting from the apple peel) using my homemade Super Sonic facial mask, but I’ll give the apple peel at least two more attempts before I throw in the towel. Unless there is some miracle that occurs, I’ll either take this back to CVS for a refund (it’s $19.99USD for a jar, BTW – and, yes, the ingredient list is identical to the Juice Beauty version) or else put it up for swap on MUA unless someone here would like to take it off my hands.

Carekate,

what's the 411 on your super sonic mask? I looked for it in the DIY section but could not find it.

Thanks!

If the batches were reversed, I'd feel so sorry for the poor people with sensitive skin. Sad

I knew this had been discussed before! See link above.

This is the link to the forum convo about Juice Beauty v. Juice Organics, including the response from Juice about the difference between the products and MACrisis' side-by-side comparison on her husband's face.
