Hi everyone,
just wanted to share my latest buy from the Vermont country store.
Tangee lipstick and blush.
Years and years ago i used to use a blush and lipstick that went on clear but that then the color adjusted to my skin tone--It was made from Coty and the lipstick was called nature's liptint but it's no longer available.
While looking on line for something similar I found the tangee product.
I love the lipstick--it's orange in the tube but it goes on clear and within seconds turns to a very complementary color--on my lips it turned into a beautiful watermelon red.
The blush looks rose and it's in powder form but you can also use your fingers to apply it and it also turns into a good complementary color for your skin.
I guess for people that have bad luck with lipstick this is something worth trying.
I love it and had no idea it's been around for decades, just not well advertised.

My mom used to use the Tangee lipstick back in the 50s! She was thrilled when she saw it in that Vermont Store catalog and was tempted to buy one "for old time's sake." I always thought it was a gimmick, like those "mood rings" back in the 70s that were supposed to change colors depending upon if you were happy/sad/angry/etc., but instead just ended up looking a murky greenish grey color all the time...but then again, I never fell for the "pet rock" craze either! |
