What has been your experience with B&B salons? Not just the products, but stylists, coloring, etc...? |

I haven't been to one of their salons, but I have used their products. I have the Hair Powder (it's alright ... not sure yet if I'll repurchase), Gentle Shampoo, Super Rich Conditioner (love these!), Deeep conditioner (for weekly treatments ... like this as well), Shine (just makes my hair feel greasy), Finishing Balm (loved this when my stylist used it ... don't love it when I TRY to use it ) |

My hair stylist, who was Aveda trained, just opened her own salon last year and went with the B& B concept. It all sems very young and modern, yet not at all radical or edgy.
The line is somewhat exclusive, I think, as she had to go through a lot to qualify to carry it, and is one of the few in this state.
She and several of her stylists go to NEw York for training and I've liked what they come back with.
I don't use the products, however good they may be because of my chemical sensitivities. |

I haven't been to any of the salons (I didn't even know they existed!) but I'm a big fan of the Curl Conscious Stlying Cream. It's excellent for curly hair, I've got my eye on the shampoo and conditioner too, and the deep conditioning treatment... |

Rachael, the Curl Conscious Creme is one of my favourites too. The best I've yet used for my unruly hair. |

I've been going to the B&B salon on 56th & Lex (NYC) for probably close to 10 yrs now - give or take. Not sure how many other locations they have - and where (besides SoHo - which I haven't been to)
I posted my experience here:

if you have any specific questions, feel free to ask me.
I am also a huge fan of their products. I've used just about everything at some point. lol |

I haven't been to their salons so I'm a bit reluctant to TRY their products because of the price. I don't really want to buy something and return it either (a lot of places don't allow returns either). I've found a much less expensive product for my permed hair that works so I have no incentive to try (I'm too lazy to be a hair person on top of being a skincare person ). |

I lived in NY many years ago and went to the B&B salon on 57th. I just called up, asked for someone who could cut Asian hair. They booked me with an Asian stylist and she was one of the best I'd ever had . I went to her for about a year until I moved away, but recommended her to my sister who stayed with her for another couple of years.
I've used a couple of their products and like them but not the price |
