Hi,
Maybe someone can explain this to me. I'm on ebay bidding on Skinceuticals C+E Ferulic Serum based on recommendations on EDS and the pricing of this confounds me. It looks like you can bid on 3 main categories 1) sample sizes 2)1oz bottle or 3) 2 oz bottles. This is what is strange -- oz. for oz., the samples sell for sooo much cheaper than a 1 or 2oz large bottle and I can't figure out why!! For example, I just bid and won a 8 bottle sampler that measures out to over an 1 oz. bottle of SC C+E for 22.50. However, folks are paying over 44.00 for a 1 oz. bottle! Or they're bidding on a 2 oz. bottle for over $96!! Why not just buy another 8 or 12 sampler that measures out to over 2 ounces??!? I check the completed listings and it's the same pattern. Am I missing something here? Are the samplers inferior in some way that I'm just not aware of?
Thanks for helping me figure out this mystery! |

i think because those samples aren't really supposed to be for sale, that's why it's a lot cheaper. i bought the bottle version, but i heard the constant exposure to oxygen from applying everyday deteriorates the product, so samples are the way to go. |
