Does anyone use vitamin capsules on their face? I was wondering if this would be good for me or not... Instead of buying Vit E in a cream can I not buy supplements, burst them open then use on my face and hands? |

I know Elizabeth Arden has many products with capsules. However I never try it because it is a little bit oily. so if you have dry skin then you can have a try. |

I would think a straight Vit. E capsules would be too heavy for your skin. Perhaps if you mixed it with another ingredient. Have you looked at the DIY skincare recipes thread? Many members make their own product with much success. |

Yes, I use vitamin E capsules straight on my face. My sister uses it too. She has oily skin and never breaks out from the pure Vitamin E oil. I have dry skin and also don't break out from it. As a matter of fact I find the Vitamin E excellent to use on any break outs I do have. It seems to heal them quite rapidly.
People respond differently to products so I can't say how you would react to the Vitamin E. You can always buy a small bottle and try it first on the drier areas of your face to see how you would react to it. If you do buy the vitamin E just make sure that it's "natural" because the other form will not do anything for you.
I also use the Vitamin E around my eyes because it's the only thing I seem to respond to. My skin seems to be ultra sensitive to every eye cream I have ever tried.
However, every skin is different so I just can't say how you would personally respond to the Vitamin E. If you try it and it doesn't work you can always save the Vitamin E to put on burns. It's excellent for that so you wouldn't be wasting your money. |
