I am almost finished with the JB Varicose Veins lotion. I loved that it seemed to help with circulation so my legs and ankles were less likely to swell. I don't need to get anything else from the JB website, so I am curious about what EDS has to offer in terms of leg treatments. I am looking for something to use everyday that will help with circulation and appearance of veins. I was eying the Decleor Cirulo-something oil and baume as well as Gehwol products. Does anybody have any recommendations for a product that EDS carries that would help with my leg woes? Tia!

I too have poor circulation in my legs, what I found to help the most was soaking my feet in warm then cold water straight afterwards. My Chiropodist advised this.
I also take asprin on a regular basis and as for lotions, I quite like Woods of Windsor Peppermint Cooling leg gel. |

Is there really anything topical that can help with leg spider veins? Any recommendations?
I find wearing compression stockings when i'm at home helps. (the proper medical grade type)
Schlerotherapy is the only thing that works for me. My legs were perfect after a couple of sessions, but you do have to get top-ups every now and then. |

I recently have found myself to be the proud owner of not one, not two, but THREE creams for tired/heavy/swollen legs. (never let it be said that I do anything in moderation). I do intend to review fully at some point but here is a brief rundown
1. Elancyl leg gel: very highly perfumed (but with that alluring elancyl smell), a lovely gel-lotion that glides on the skin easily and gives an instant cooling/relaxing feeling. Has enough slip that you can massage a bit too. Very nice for instant relief.
2. Gehwol Leg Vitality: this is nice to put on in the morning or at night as a protection cream. Very lightweight and absorbs beautifully. Not a lot of instant relief though (not that I am saying that is a negative, but this is better to use BEFORE you get into trouble with swelling etc. each day)
3. Weleda Citrus Gel: useful for many kinds of massage, but particularly for the legs. This one falls in between the above two. It has some long-term affect but also a bit of instant relief.
I like them all. (of course!) |

I've taken vitamins fromwww.procap.com for over ten years, they are powder form vitamins, no fillers, not fake colors ect. Anyhow they do make a circulation and vein support vitamin with an ingredient from europe called Diosmin, they say its been used over there for a long time but not here. Anyhow long story short, I've used this product for quiet a few years and I have zip zero nada problems with legs or with swelling in feet ect. Hope that helps. |

Do you have any more info, please, Melissa? |

I am so sorry my post was confusing, heres the information on the vitamins (not the caps). When I said powder, I ment they are in caps not rock hard pills. ok just checked the site, it should take you to the vitamins let me see if i can find the page of the circulation and vein support, http://www.procapslabs.com/PCL/Pages/Products/PCLSearchResults.aspx?input=circulation
by over there I ment europe ect. Its by prescription there but is not considered a drug here. Now I could be wrong but i believe its been used for a very long time "over there" with great results. I am in Texas so Europe seems very far away indeed
hope that helps. If that link doenst work try typing in http://www.yourvitamins.com and then do a search in the search box for circulation and vein support.
I just checked my earlier link, and so sorry ladys I didnt add the lab on end of procap lmao... |

Thanks, Melissa. I've bookmarked the site as they do sound promising.
As for dying brain cells, if many more of mine go, I'll end up with intellect of a diced carrot. |
