Hello!
Has anyone tried using Hyaluronic Acid in their homemade Vit C serums? If so, what differences did you notice? Are there an online store anyone would recommend to purchase pure topical Hyaluronic Acid?
Thanks for any advice or insight anyone can provide! |

Pure skin formulations is where I bought mine from. I wonder if you could use this stuff straight from the bottle and put it on your face????? I haven't been too successful with my Vit C serum. Its either too thick (gel-like) or then I thin it too much. I would be interested in someone elses recipe too!!! |

Hi NKristie
I've seen others buy it from here
http://www.ingredientstodiefor.com/item.php?item_id=126
dirt cheap (32 oz $49!!!) but good.
I'm not a DIYer, but I think there is one kind of Vit C you can put in this, but the usual kind Ascorbic you can't. I'd ask on the DIY thread.
Hi Chrissie
Yes, just put it on your face .
It's a humectant and very nice, healthy and plumping. It draws in moisture so if you live in a dry climate you might want to add something moisturising over the top - natural oil is nicest I feel (or moisturiser). If it's humid you won't need it - it seems to suck in the moisture from the air.

The IS Clinical Super serum has L-ascorbic acid and HA, so I imagine that they can be combined. However, I am not a DIYer and have no idea how this would be done! |

I haven't seen anyone mention the "ingredients to die for" website before. Do you know if it's safe to buy from them? Are they reputable? |

Hi Ellyp
I haven't seen anyone from EDS buy from there, but I've seen people from another forum using them - seems reputable to me.
