But I don't quite know where to begin. Perhaps something that I can't get locally would be good, but I'm not even sure what that might be. Denver has lots. And I'm not interested to spend a fortune until I know I like something. Any suggestions? thanks! |

Hi Cedar
People will love to give you advice on shopping, believe me!
But everyone needs different products. You need to give us some info about yourself
Your age
Skin type (e.g. oily/dry - pale/burns easily - sensitive)
Any skin problems (e.g. acne, wrinkles)
What you've tried before
What you want any products to do

Wow, so personal! But, I understand.
age: over 40
skin type: dry to normal.
no skin problems or sensitivities.
I would like to look glowy and youthful, as much as possible. I think my skin is very nice. A few maturity spots on cheeks.
Currently using: skinceuticals, philosophy.
Just tried the JB Green Apple Peel, nice but not particularly noteworthy. Tried Dr. H about 10 years ago, and nothing noteworthy for me. A few vertical lines over lips. Live healthy, always have. Now, recommend away!Thank you so much. |

My favourite lines are Dr H and Primavera. I'm also thinking of incorporating some Jurlique and have recently purchased the JB Green Apple Peel. Weleda also has some great products which are less expensive than the above mentioned. My favourite product of theirs is the Everon Lip Balm. Hopefully EDS will carry some of their products one day. For cosmetics I use DR H and am now incorporating some Jane Iredale as well after hearing so many good things about the line. My suggestion is to narrow down some of the products you like and then do a forum search for some reviews. This might help you make some final decisions. Happy shopping! |

I think my skin's a bit similar
A lot of people are wowed by PSF (Pure Skin Forumulations) at the moment. It's gentle but effective and I have an ever growing wish list.
Perhaps the Papaya enzyme mask and the O2 for a little glow.
I've heard great things about the phyto-lift for eyes
Have you tried some simple things like Hyaluronic Acid and natural oils - very plumping. I see like me you're normal to dry. |

Missdisney
There's a 20% discount for all EDS shoppers on their home page, but it's only for US and Canadian customers I'm afraid.
Others of us (I'm in Asia) don't even see it displayed.
Sorry if you're one of us.

The best way to know about these offers is to come here often. |

Haven't tried this yet (it's ordered and on its way to me), but you might like Amino Genesis' Photolagen and/or Tripeptinon. They're extremely popular here.
I can also recommend PSF. They make loads of great skincare that would probably suit you well.
Juice Beauty is also well-liked by many EDS posters - particularly the Green Apple Peel.
Do let us know what you finally order. It's always interesting to hear what others are buying. |

I'm leaning towards Jurlique and PSF, because I don't think I can get them in stores here. Just letting you know.....although I'm not positive yet! Thanks for your posts/input. |

Cedar, I am in the same age group and similar skin type as you are. Also quite a newbie here. Things that I have tried (and like) after reading raves on this Forum:
PSF 20% Vit C Serum / PSF STIMUCOLL-C for eyes / AMINO GENESIS TRIPEPTINON / GREEN APPLE PEEL / VALMONT Renewing Pack
Please let us know if you should decide on ordering PSF - how does this line compare with Skinceuticals (Vit C Serum etc.). I have been eyeing this line - sort of undecided between Skinceuticals and Alpha Derma. |

Jurlique: cleansing lotion, and deep penetrating cream mask
PSF: O2, Peach face scrub
Excited! Thanks for suggestions. |
