I looked all over the internet for this and couldn't really find an answer. Since most of my life I have always squeezed whiteheads, I never cared. But - I have decided to stop squeezing them if they are not big just to see what happens. So what happens to the white "stuff" inside? Does it absorb back into the follicle? How? Does it thin out?
Does anyone know? |

I've always assumed it just dries up. I mean, what else would it do? But, yeah, lately if I get a pimple, it's a whitehead, and I just can't help myself-- I pop it. I just want it gone! If it's little and around my nose, I'll let it dry up, but if it's on my chin, that sucker's gotta go! |
