I've been looking for a natual lip balm that contained SPF. Unfortunately, the products that I've tried have performed well as sunscreen but not so well as lip balms. (I've used Kiss My Face, Un-Petroleum Lip Balm, and the Dr. Hauschka Sunscreen Stick, which to be fair isn't really characterized as a lip balm, per se.)
So, I'm very curious about the Lavera. I'd particularly like to know whether you liked it as a lip balm. That is, would you wear it even if you weren't planning to be in the sun? |

Hi Shanno,
yes, I use it mainly because it is nice on the lips, and moisturizing without giving white cast on the lips as many other lip's sunscreens. I tried Dr. H's lip balm and Sunscreen Stick, and didn'n like it. It gave me feeling that my lips were burning when I put it on...it also dried my lips. |

Thanks! The Lavera sounds great. I'll just have to add it to my ever-expanding list of things to try. |

Weleda has a great natural lipbalm, too. If you like Lavera you might want to give it a try. |

I actually just bought a Weleda Everon balm a few weeks ago, and I like it almost as much as the Dr. Hauschka balm. If I could find something that worked as well as either of those AND had SPF, I'd be thrilled. |
