Have you tried using a primer under your foundation? Maybe that will help smooth things out. I don't use one myself, but my sister really loves the Smashbox primer. |

Smashbox does help quite a bit with this. I also like the new Origins moisturizing foundation, Next of Skin. Does not seem to "settle" so much and keeps my skin firmer/plumper looking. I have also cut way, way back on powder use. It seems to just aggravate the situation. |

I would also suggest using a primer. I use Smashbox Photo Finish. After you apply a primer you should let it sit for a couple of minutes. When you apply your foundation it sits on top of foundation rather then settling in fine lines and wrinkles. I also like to use a foundation brush to apply a liquid foundation.
My HG look comes from Lauren Hutton. I her FACE DISC. This cosmetic (when I take the time to apply) gives my face a lifted, bright eye, younger look. |
