There's some really cheap stuff with UV protection from VS Sassoon, which is just *horrible* on my hair - made it straight, frizzy and dry as a bone. But my hair's extremely fine, wavy and absorbant. Might be nice on yours if it's thick and straight. |

Is it really necessary to use UV protection on hair? What I meant to say was -- since hair is dead cells and keeps growing, doesn't seem to me that UV could do permanent damage to hair anyways. Not sure if I missed something here. |

It's to maintain colour on dyed hair Wawa, otherwise unnatural blonde goes a bit orange in the sun. |

Thanks Molly!!! I knew there must be a reason for the products, I wouldn't know since I've only dyed my hair once so far and decided not to do it again until I have grey hair . |
