I'm 25(soon 26) and this year,I have definitely noticed fine lines under both of my eyes, and even one real, deep wrinkle under the right one! When I smile, it's really scary!
And yet, I'm extremely scared to buy an eye cream that would be too strong for me, I am convinced it'd make it worse, so I have no idea which cream to try.
I started using 2 eye creams recently, and they seem to make it worse, but maybe I am just panicking...I think my eye skin is drier because of them, is that possible?
Anyway, ANY suggestions for safe and effective eye creams for the mid twenties?
thank you! |

Hi Daniela
What eye creams were you using? That would be very helpful to know so that you can get some good advice from the members. Also, you might want to say how much you're willing to spend. There's so many eye creams available, but some of them are quite costly. |

hi, thanks for the reply!
I'm using H2O Plus "eye mender restorative firming treatment" (it has vit C and E and algae extracts etc), and also I have Body Shop's "Vit E eye cream"(it has VitE and rosehip oil)
For something I would feel sure is safe and effective for my age group, I'd be willing to spend 50$ or more. Up to a maximum of 75$, I would say.
thanks |

That's true. H2O+ eye mender firming treatment is good. I got a sample of it but it is for mature skin, I guess. |

Orlane has a nice gel/cream for the eye area I hear (Oligo cooling or something like that). I also really like Babor Sensational Eyes Eye Cream for a simple yet hydrating cream, as well as the Thalgo Revitalising one. I would also suggest that you use an eye cream with SPF during the day - Murad makes one that is my fave, but many people also favor the Dermalogica SPF eye cream. HTH |

I've been looking for a good eye-cream since ages (aka the last 20something years...). and I finally found my HG via EDS : Cellcosmet. Though I would recommend it rather to more mature skin (will post a review later: i made an eye-to-eye comparison of Cellc. wih IS Clinical, Cellc. is a clear winner, the first cream ever erasing my lines !).
I could recommend to you ROC's eye cream which was good for me and is rather low priced, or IS clinical's eye-creme, which is both, affordable and nice. |

I've really liked the phytomer contour eye cream. I'm in my late 20's and hae the fine lines also - it really does help smooth the area and desn't make my eyes puffy. It's kinda light too, so it's not too rich, and it's affordable. My little jar has lasted me eight months now!!! |

Hi Daniela,
I am 29 and in the same boat you are in and I've tried just about everything. I really like skinceuticals eye balm, they also have a gel. You can get a sample of it on ebay to try it out thats what I did. It's about 68 dollars otherwise. |

I just started using Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Eyes Time Complex Caps for a about a week. and I notice the line on the inner corner of my right eye faded some. the oil sinks right in when apply on the skin, without feeling greasy. |

Thanks a lot,
I'm also wondering, one eye cream that I've tried, it never really absorbed into the skin, it kind of caked inside the wrinkle/fine line, could that be an indication that the cream is no good?
Also, I get a burning sensation, and although I heard that it means the cream's active ingredient is working, it still doesn't seem normal to me, any ideas whether it's OK if it burns?
thanks! |

I like the MD Formulations Vit A Plus eye cream because it doesn't cause millia. However, I sometimes find I need a little extra moisturizer (Dermalogica multivitamin powerfirm) overtop at night if my skin is particularly dry. I am trying the Alphaderma Okusil right now. It seems to firm the eye area, but I am not sure if it will by drying yet. |

I just ordered the Ice Elements EYESsentual duo on hsn.com as it is on sale. It contains their eye cream, which I do like, but also a serum which has rave reviews.
The two together work to fade dark cirles and pigmentation, hydrate, tighten, de-puff, fade fine lines and wrinkles.
They will be demo'ing it again later today on hsn and America's Stores if you want to check it out. |

am over 35 and really loved SkinMedica TNS Illuminating Eye Cream
I think checking ingredients is a great idea as there are so many great new anti aging ones peptides etc that actually stimulate collagen..so if you are going to spend any money on an eye cream get one is more than just a moisturiser.... |
