When the Sephora lady gave me a sample of this stuff I loved, loved, loved it. Worked like a charm, especially on my nose.
Went out and bought it and had the darnedest time getting it out of the tube. The blue stuff is supposed squeeze out simultaneously with the yellow stuff to make the green stuff that's active. Never once did it happen. All blue all the time with a squidge of yellow.
Does this sound familiar to anyone?
At $48.00 USD a tube it's very annoying. I'm going to return it. |

I have never used this product, but it does sound very intriguing, since I am always looking for ways to deep clean my nose better!
I did a quick search to research it, though, and according to a review at MakeupAlley, it doesn't matter that the two colors don't come out together. From poster mihnea:
"I just wanted to let ya know it doesent matter if you squeeze out too much of the green or blue, its the same product. The idea behind the blue and green is to incurage you to gently blend the mask around on the skin to help those fruit acids sink into the pores and clean'em out."
The reviews were very mixed, though. My best guess would be the mask works, but not nearly as effectively as other products out there. I don't think I'll be purchasing it. |

i experienced this lack of function too. i bought and returned a tube of steep clean to a local sephora, only to have the salesgirls test all of the other tubes in the store, finding that ALL of the tubes in store had the same problem. turns out, bliss had emailed sephora (or at least that store) alerting them of an issue and according to the ladies at the store, bliss is working on it. i was so excited and desperate to try this product i went to another sephora that same day, about 20 miles away from the first, and ALL of their tubes were unfunctional as well! i've emailed bliss about this, so we'll see! |

| I purchased this product, and should have returned it. I now use it, just on principal that I spent almost $50 on it. I didn't experience the deep cleaning I had envisioned. |

here's the email response that i got from bliss:
"Thank you for your Bliss inquiry. We apologize for the confusion surrounding the Steep Clean product. I must start off by letting you know that the Steep Clean product is awesome. Also, the blue and the yellow are actually the same ingredients. We use the two colors to ensure that the product will be mixed well before it is applied. as long as you mix the product well, before applying the product to your face; you will get the same amazing results. Again, the yellow substance and the blue substance are actually the same ingredients." |

So...are they saying they are the same ingredients?
haha...I know I know...I'm being a smart*ss.
Seems strange they'd color it two different colors, why does it have to be mixed well if its the same ingredients?
Marketing ploy I bet!
And don't forget it's "awesome."
Ahh, yay for Customer Service people that make me laugh. |

yeah. let me just first say that this product knows that its so remarkable it doesnt want to come out of the bottle. it's annoying whatever their reasons. if they're worried about getting the right chemical/enzyme reaction after rubbing the two together, just GIVE US A TIME FRAME AND ONE COLOR TO WORK WITH rather than a dispenser that won't. i dunno about y'all but i'm pretty good about counting at the same time as i'm rubbing my face.
the overall message seems to just be happy with what comes out; but if i'm paying $50 for this, i want more than half of the product, preferably ALL of it, to come out of the bottle. otherwise, market just the blue stuff at $25. |
