I would realy appreciate it if you could help me get my skin clear.
I am currently having microdermabrasion facial treatment (12 so far). I was using ASAP with AHA exfoliant during the treatment.
I have now been to see someone who has suggested i have advanced rejuvenation peel with my micro treatments. Now here are my Questions
1. Is rejuvenation TCA peels a good idea with my micro? They are a combination of Lactic, Glycolic and citric acids
2. Now what products should i be using?
- ASAP with AHA's exfoliant and cleanser
- Nimue cleanser and exCel AFA Gels (mild, plus & max)from xlafa which act as a exfoliacnt
thanks very much!
At the moment i dont get the pus pimples, just red onces around my chin and posteroir triangles of my neck (front). I am wanting to reduce the size of my pores, get rid of black/white heads but most importantly reduce the redness of my chin and neck.
-And if possible reduce the small scars |

Davis is the rejuvination peel a TCA peel or a combo lactic, glycolic and citric acids? Do they want to do both the peel and the microderm at the same time or at different times? TCA peels are usually strong peels with some down time. Are you having this done at a dermatologists or elsewhere? If I were to have something like this done I would definetly go with a dermatologist. Honestly, I do not have answers to your questions. These are things that you really need to be asking the person performing your procedures. Just curious, did they tell you that this procedure would reduce redness? What is your redness due to? I may be wrong here but I don't think that either peels or microderm is used to treat redness. |

Hi TheresaL, i have been on holidays so sorry i didnt reply.
Yes they want to do both the peel and micro at the same time. Yes they are a dermatologist. As for the redness, they said it would help but i dont think they said its directly for redness. SHe suggested i try a foil razor instead of using a shaver for the neck redness.
So no one has any info on ASAP products, Nimue or exCEL ADA gels? |
