After going through half of the MUA reviews I finally decided on trying Paula's Choice 2% BHA Liquid because I'm completely exasperated with the never ending blackheads and blocked pores that seem mainly concentrated on my nose. I've tried so many different products in the past, most recently Joey Pure Pores, Mario Badescu Silver Powder and I seemed to be using the Queen Helene Mint Julep mask nearly everyday trying to maintain some sort of control over them  they always seem to win though.
So I've been using the 2% BHA daily for around 2 weeks and already there is a noticeable difference. I started off using it twice a day, but it is quite greasy and it's therefore easier just to use at night. It does come in a gel formula, and lotion aswell, but after reading the reviews I decided on the liquid since it sounded the most effective for really stubborn blackheads. I've just been using it on my nose because I don't really like using anything too harsh on the rest of my face and I have had slightly flaky skin from using it, but I can put up with it since it's made a noticeable difference in my skin. The pores appear smaller and my blackheads not nearly as obvious as they were before. It just seems to really loosen them and they are really easy to extract. Before, the skin on my nose felt quite rough, even though I exfoliate regulary, now it's really smooth and clear. So at the moment I'm really happy with the results, it's not a miracle worker but it's the most effective product that I've tried for this problem so far. The only thing that's slightly annoying, is that my nose seems slightly oilier than it was before, so I'll probably start using it every other day. Apart from that I'm really happy! |

| Very good review! Thank you! I love this product. I too have the 2% liquid BHA and I use mine every 2nd night because I found it a bit drying for me. (You can only exfoliate so much). It sure keeps the skin clear. |

I used 1% Gel some time ago before the 2% Gel came into the market and did notice an improvement on blackheads on my nose quickly. My face seemed clearer and it absorbed very well. I liked it BUT the results didn't last. My nose became rough with blackheads again after less than a month's use.

| I tried it a while back (maybe 2 or 3 years ago) and found that it really didn't do much for me... I get much better results from Afirm 3X (summer) and Afirm 2X (winter). |
