Hi,
I have a question for those who have ordered from Saffron Rouge - have you ever had to pay extra duties for shipping to Canada?
This company is based in the US so I assume you may have to pay duties. If so I am sort of reluctant to order from this website because I've had a bad experience with extra duties. I don't mind paying the normal tax rate but I had to pay a hefty customs fee on top of that. Usually when I do not have to pay duties the package gets delievered to my door while if I do, then I have to pick it up at the post office (it takes longer too because they hold it up in at the customs office). I don't order online apart from occasional ebay auctions and much more frequent EDS orders. I'm quite inexperienced in ordering from online sites in the US, so if anyone can provide some input that's great. This is the only site where I can get John Masters and Primavera, not to mention I can get free shipping. |

I order from them and I live in the US and its post marked Canada. You might want to check it out again they are not a US company I just looked on their site and they are in Ontario and i just looked at the box that my last order came from and it came from Canada. I also use Primivera as well as Wildflower and she lives in Canada i believe |

Ok I finally found where it says Saffron Rouge is in Toronto....I feel very stupid now
This teaches me not to assume, as I always thought most of these are based in the US...
Thanks for pointing that out to me! |

their customer service is WONDERFUL. I use primivara skin care and my sample kit was missing something a without question they sent me out another plus when you order you can pick the samples that you want and actually get what you request unlike EDS that only send me 1 or 2 samples and never anything that i have asked for. Sorry guys had to vent but even with my discount SR is looking better and better for my needs |

They have options that you can choose from: canadian shoppers, international, and american shoppers. It is in the upper right corner.
I ordered many times from them and very happy with the service.

Saffron Rouge is a Canadian company based out of Guelph, Ontario but they also have a warehouse in the US for American shipments. They now deal with international clients as well. Their prices are both in CAD$ or US$ so you just need to click on the flags/symbols at the top right of the page depending on where you are from eg CAD, USA or INTL. Canadians and Americans do not pay customs and duties on their purchases. I have been ordering from them for a couple of years and must say their customer service is great. I always get quick responses from them and if an error is made it is quickly remedied. Plus I get my shipment from them in only 2 or 3 days so they have super speedy shipping. If you can't find something on EDS I definitely recommend buying from them. |

I would love to buy Primavera from SR, but their international shipping is HORRENDOUS.. I mean REALLY Horrendous.. flat rate of FIFTY US Dollars!!
I know we internationals dont mean much to most businesses, but that is just crazy. Who on earth is going to spend $100 on say 2 products and then pay $50 to have it shipped?
I would not call that particularly good customer service. There are plenty of cheaper (and trackable) options out there. Gosh, they dont even offer free or reduced shipping if you have a huge order. |

I ordered from them twice. Their customer service is excellent. But I do find their shipping rate a bit expensive. It is around $10 CAD + 15% tax. |
