Hi World,
I've been using obagi nu derm for approx 4 weeks now; to help with sun damage and hyperpigmentation - during the first couple weeks I was seeing dramatic results, (sun spots were fading, face felt and looked tighter, nice tone (albeit red) and even fine lines were diminishing), but now my skin seems to be in a lull so to speak. It just feels like it's stopped working at the rate in which it started? Has anyone else had this same experience? I know that i've not finished the first cycle, but want to know if this is a normal part of the process, and at what phase should one really expect to see optimum results? Of course, the answer is subjective, but has anyone had the system fail on them, after starting out with such a promising future? |

Hi!!
Well, I used the obagi system. It worked really good on my skin. It removed some freckels and spots I had. The bad thing was that it made my skin extremely dry. During the first 7-8 weeks, my skin started to look a bit dull. I wanted to stop the treatment, but decided to follow through. Fortunately, I did begin to see good results after the first two months. My skin no longer looked cakey, dry, or dull. My pore size was smaller, and it looked really healthy. It takes about 6 weeks for new skin cells to come up, so just wait for them to come up!! Right now your skin is adapting to all the "chemicals", so just guive it time. Once your skin tolerates it better, you'll see the good results!! It worked for me!!
Hope this helps... |

leslieg--my mom used obagi nu derm a few years back, i can't remember the process exactly, but i know she went through a lot of grief during the process and thought her skin would never look nice again and even regretted starting obagi, but at the end, she was overjoyed with the results, so don't worry |
