These are traditional formulas that if you are taking the dried herbs 1,000-4,000 mg a day are a good average dosage. With a tea, the strength may be hard to measure but they are safe herbs. If you have any concerns, you can ask the herbalist you purchase the herbs from for advice. Always a good idea if you have any health problems or are pregnant etc..

Pearl(powder), Codonopsis Root, Schizandra, Dang Gui, Dendrobium, Lycium Fruit, White Peony Root, Peach Kernel, Asparagus Root, Sesame Seed & Longan..
The first & the last are suitable for both men & women. Whle the 2nd one is good for women only.
It's important to find a good source of quality herbs. You may even be able to find a good one of the internet.
The herbs are given common names here but also have pharmaceutical name, botanical names and chinese names.
If you go to a chinese herbalist that has only familiarity with the Chinese name, you will need to give them that one. Here's a list to help:White peony Root-Bai Shao..Schizandra-Wu Wei Zi...Placenta-Zi He Che...Pearl-Zhen Zhu...Lycium Fruit-Gou Qi Zi...Longan-Long Yan Rou....Dendrobium-Shi Hu....Deer Antler-Lu Rong...Codonopsis-Dang Shen....Cinamon Twig-Gui Zhi...Albizzia-He Huan...Coix-Yi Yi Ren..Asparagus Root-Huang Qi..
Like most Chinese healing practices,100 days is recommended. I've heard this alot stresses the importance of not missing a day. It's certainly something to shoot for but I never manage to be that consistent.
Now that I've written this out, I'll definitely have to try one.
If you want to try something simple, just take Schizandra for 100 days. This is suppose to make the skin radiant & more beautiful. A tincture of this is found in most health food stores.
I can attest to the lycii berries making the eyes sparkle. These are called wolfberries too and are usually dried and are so delicious. A handful a day is great.
And dang gui is wonderful for us women in many ways but is great for our skin too.
