I used to have beautiful skin and acne free but since my middle 20's, I have always had these bumps on my T-zone. My face is very easy to get red and irritated. I didn't know anything about Rosacea until recently I bumped into some articles about Rosacea. If it is really Rosacea, does anyone know how to get rid of those bumps?? And what prodcuts are good for Rosacea patients? Any thought is greatly appreciated.

Hi Angela,

I don't know much about Rosacea but I thought that it was irritation and redness of the skin and it didn't involve any bumps? I could be WAY off though.

I think you should wait and see if people suggest something from their experience but you should also email the spa directly and ask them for a recommendation. They have professional training in this area and will be able to suggest products that are suitable for you.

All the best,
Mabsy

Hi Angela
I recently did a Google search on rosacea - there's a website you might find interesting which outlines all the symptoms at: rosacea.org
Cheers

PS - the website states that there are different types of rosacea, one of which is characterised by red lumpy spots.

After reading about rosacea you feel you may have it, it is important you go see a dermatologist. This will not likely improve on it's own and from what I hear, the sooner it is diagnosed and treated the better. Good luck!

I have had great luck with NOT showering in the morning as the warm water made my face flush all damn day. I noticed results in two days by eating a clove of garlic in the morning and at night ( the healing factor in garlic is incredible ), and lastly, dabbing full strength organic apple cider on the face with cotton pad before bed time. I also drink lemon water through out the day and I know that helped as well. All of that crap has helped 10 times what the dumb dermos had prescribed me throughout the years.

Hello,
An ex-boyfriend of mine had Rosacea and it was red and kind of bumpy all over. Strangers thought he had a chemical peel. It was mainly on his cheeks. Apparently it's a form of acne that developed in his late teens/early twenties. Me, being the skincare enthusiast that I am, got him the Murad formula that addresses all forms of acne and even specifically stated Rosacea as one of them. The mask soothed it and the treatment products took down the red inflamed areas on his cheeks. I was very happy with the results, but he turned out to be a jerk. Oh well.
