must share
been sitting at home sick so thought I would at least get some stuff done ...henna-ed my hair then gave myself a microdermabrasion (Epiderm) after that applied DDF hydra comfort gel mask to reduce irritation then applied vitA plus by md formulations....(yes it stung as it has glycolic acid and I had done the peel) 5 hours later rinsed my henna (and face) then applied PSF brow tox followed by a few serums and creams but already noticed a HUGE difference in my skin. seriously!!! fine lines virtually disappeared skin looked radiant, discoloration's greatly reduced .....I mean I could go out now no make up (wish I was feeling better)!!! I wouldnt recommend this if you have never peeled or used microdermabrasion but if you do then this really works! and tons cheaper than going to a beautician or dermatologist!and better results! |

Sounds like you really treated yourself! I hope you're better now as well.
I had a nice long relaxing bath last night and also did a DIY facial. I'm a really big fan of DIY facials - I find them quite relaxing. I also don't really like strangers playing with my skin so I tend to stick with DIY |

I also use microdermabrasion (Microdermx) which I love, but am interested in this other gel mask you are talking about - you mean a cooling mask you just place on your face or an actual mask? If an actual mask, I might like to try - where can I see it? I love masks! |

hi Mabsy and marygirl....yeah I love DIY ...hate having to be tied to an appointment ....and products that are available now are probably just as good.....the mask is a DDF (which you can buy from EDS) its a gel one it says (and I quote) 'An ultra-gentle, calming gel mask to soothe, hydrate and reduce irritation. For post-esthetic treatment, or for at-home use. Excellent for all skin types. Contains a combination of six anti-inflammatories and detoxifying herbs, including Portulaca and Heal-All for visible reduction of redness and irritation. '
I do tend to over scrub or peel....yes love masks too! I think there are only so many products you can use in one day and its great to have different masks you can slap on while having a bath or watching TV or checking out this forum |

Excellent thank you! I'll check it out. I use daily masks and enjoy looking at and trying different ones. |
