I put this on my face tonight, and it is not bothering me at all, as far as harshness or anything, but it is drying. Should I apply a night cream over it? Thank you. |

I have used that and loved it too...I would apply it then wait for at least 10 min then apply another cream...I always layer but wait as long as I can between so that the active ingredients have time to do their thing and not get 'diluted' by anything else..... |

I have seen some companies who sell Jan Marini products advise waiting about 15 minutes before applying a moisturiser. They advise TGF serum or cream but you could use any good moisturiser. |

Yes. I have the JM Bioglycolic Bioclear and always use a cream or a lotion over the top (after waiting a while). For a change, I'm now using a sample of the Bioglycolic night cream (to recover my skin from too much travel/partying). It's less drying but I still put a little something over the top (PSF ALA oil). |

I just ordered the Bioclear ... I was curious ... can you use retinol over this? (I have PSF 1%). I want to use the Bioclear in my tzone at night and usually I would also use retinol over my entire face. Would that be too much do you think? |

I'm not sure sorry and I don't want to give you the wrong advice. They both exfoliate so my gut feeling would be that it would be too much to combine the two, particularly with a 1% retinol. Start another topic maybe and see what responses you get? Or give the EDS ladies a call and see what they recommend. |

Thanks Mabsy ... you're probably right (about it maybe being too much). I think I'll hold off the retinol until I've tried the Bioclear (when it comes in) and maybe only use that every second night until I'm sure how it will react. And then maybe if it's ok, I'll alternate nights with that and the retinol. |
