I recently discovered their products in my local pharmacy & the SA gave me a sample of their hand & body lotion. So far I'm pretty impressed, especially seeing as the products are natural, paraben/preservative free & based on ingredients such as manuka honey, which is good for senitive skin apparently.
Just wondering if anybody has tried any products from Living Nature & what are your thoughts/opinions? |

Being from NZ, Living Nature is one of the top selling skincare lines in most health shops.
It was the first line of product that I turned to after a nasty brush with Clinique.
I have tried most of their products, cleansers, moisturisers, toners, shampoo, condition, body lotion, lip balm, masks, etc etc. Performance wise I think they are so-so. They do some very expensive products like rosehip oil and neck serums which are quite effective for improving skin turnover.
Their hand and body lotion is nice, but I find the consistency a bit watery, and does not soak in very easily.
Ingredients wise, they have some rich face creams and massage balms that are just divine.
If you are looking for a lip/body balm similar to Jurlique's lip balm, Living Nature does one called Lavender Massage Balm which is just pure oils whipped into a jelly/balm like consistency.
I did not like their toner for oily skin, as it is a gel which leaves a film over the skin and makes it feel a bit tight.
Another hard to use product was their friction peeling mask. You had to let the clay mask dry to a perfect consistency before using your fingers to rub off the clay. It never worked for me, and I'm sure it does more damage than good to "rub" your skin like that.
I have used so many products that I've forgotten, so if you are interested in a particular product just mention the name and I'll do my best to give a detailed description.
Well I have tried this line, and moved on.. There are just better and cheaper/more effective alternatives that I've found in the world of natural face care products.

I LOVE this line.
Their vitalising creamy cleanser is fantastic, as is their gel cleanser for oilier skin. I also love their day moisturizer (Coffee-wild pansy spf), their flax toners, and all of their manuka-honey-based products for blemishes and bug bites. It is one of those lines that is extremely gentle and natural and it caters to problematic skin.
I met the owner of the company once, Suzanne, and she is really special. I wish more people would use this line--it's so refreshing and it is of excellent quality. They could improve a bit on some of the body and haircare products, but it is mostly fantastic. |

Thanks for the reviews! I actually went on their site (www.livingnature.com) & there's a section were you can sign up & request samples. So if they do send me samples I will see how I go with their skincare, but it's highly likely that I will probably just stick to my beloved Dr H, Decleor & JB products. |
