From 4 years ago every Mother's day and my birthday, sometimes wedding anniversary too, I told my hubby to leave me alone and take care of kids so I can have time for myself. I still had to work if it's not in weekend but I had the night free. Most of the time I went to my yoga class or just stayed home doing nothing.

This year we did not really do anything special. I don't know, maybe it's because my Middle Age Crisis is not 100% over yet, I felt very funny when people telling me "Happy Birthday" this year. One of my co-workers told me "Old or young it's all in your head." which I really don't agree. You feel you're only 25 but you don't look 25 or your physical is not as good as 25...... Crying or Very sad

I bought lots of stuffs BEFORE MY b-day for my b-day. Rolling Eyes

What did I buy? Babor Sea Creation Concertrate and Cream, HSR Refiner Perfect Effect, Sundari Night Time Nourishing Oil, and ... and .....and ...... They were all 40% off during dermstore's Spring Clearance Sale. And, And,......, I better not tell!!

I'm officially in me LATE 40 now. Crying or Very sad

BUT my skin IS better!!!

don't worry about feeling uncomfortable about the age thing -- i'm officially hiding for mine this year. it's the MID one that everybody makes such a big deal about -- sheesh! Rolling Eyes

rosebud: I don't know if I'm prettier now than 26. Maybe I'm prettier than 24, your age!! LOL!!!

I'm giving my face a break now - using no actives, only squalane oil (AM), Emu oil (PM), and Creme De La Mer (AM, PM) now. Please, please, do not remind me I'm a vegatarian.

I found turning 30 to be far more traumatic than my recent 40th birthday.

...But then I remember the threads that said you suddenly turn overnight into a wrinkly, saggy old hag and start to panic! Shock
