I have been doing some research on this site about the best over the counter fash wash I can find at a local drug store (walgreens, cvs). The best one I've personally used is

http://www.walgreens.com/store/product.jsp?CATID=100306&navAction=jump&navCount=1&id=prod1336710

Oil of Olay's Facial Clarity Foaming Cleanser.

I've also found that some people recommend

http://www.walgreens.com/store/product.jsp?CATID=304234&navAction=jump&navCount=0&id=prod578667

Face Cleansing Oil Control Face Wash

I'm looking for something that deep cleans, treats acne, but dries out the skin the least!

__________

Also, my next question is in regards to different masks. I have tried aspirin masks recently, and they work well, but also very messy when it comes to flaking. Would a clay mask have the same benefits? (making pores tight, skin smoother, and extracting impurities from pores)? Or are aspirin masks just worth it.

In any case, which clay mask or any mask would you recommend?

Try adding some Kaolin clay to your asprin mask. Will stop the flaking.

I love asprin masks. I would say though since I use both clay and asprin I feel as though both have different qualities. I love the asprin mask because I think it treats pores and blemishes and feels like it is working to tighten pores. I think the clay mask I use (Aztec Indian Clay) which I love, draws out the impurities. So I do both. I love the Indian mask because you can actually feel your skin pulsing and getting really really tight, I noticed my pores are cleaner after I use it. I warm all my pores before using both, seems to work better.

bergquis, where can you buy the Aztec Indian Clay mask? I've never noticed it anywhere and would like to try it. TIA

Hi Seeking~HG
I saw a couple sites on line that you can order them from. But I called my local vitiamn shoppe and they stocked it. It was around $6 US and it lasts forever. I like to mix mine with various things, even though the directions saw vinegar. I use witch hazel, al. vera gel with a little water...all with good results.

Thanks, bergquis. After reading your response, I called my local Whole Foods store and they said that they carry it.

Thank you Smile The other question I had was... The directions say:

Cleanse your face and neck throughouly. Apply Masque generously and allow to dry for about 15 minutes. Remove with warm water... etc.

Should I cleanse myself, then dry myself and apply it? Or apply it while my face is moist? I'm not too sure on that one, and how they usually work. Sorry I'm new to this Smile

Yups Smile I do my masks at night during the weekday after cleansing Smile

In the weekends... I do it in the morning Smile

For the Aztec/aspirin, it really doesn't matter if your face is still moist or dry. But if you're senstitive, maybe you should wait 10min (to dry) before doing your masks.
