i've gotten threading done before. it was a weird feeling the first time, a hot feeling.
but it's good for the eyebrows because with threading they don't pull your skin as much waxing does and later on your lid gets kinda sagging. |

I had mine done once at an Asian beauty Salon, it was so cheap! Amazing results aswell. Better than waxing in my opinion, and you get a really clean finish.
With threading they are able to get rid of really find hairs aswell. |

I have had my eyebrows and upper lip for over 25 years - I have found it to be much better than waxing. |

I have done it for 13-14 years....and love it. it is the most effective thing at giving a polished look in 5 min. |

I get my eyebrows threaded and love it better than waxing. The shape threading gives me is so nice. The first time threading hurts more than waxing but after a while you get used to it. Plus with waxing it rips off the first layer of skin and can cause sagging of the skin in the long run |

A bump
I got this done the first time today, eyebrows and upper lip. And only $6 at a small Indian beauty parlour.
I normally use either tweezers, hot wax, or epilation.. and for my upper lip it has just caused the hair to grow back at an ever increasing rate
The pain could probably be equated to hot wax, but when someone else does it, it is much more tolerable.
My eyebrows have never been shaped so well before, I thought the lady would just go crazy and thread any stray hairs off, but actually also defined the brows really well.
I did get some "spot" bleeding on the upper lip, but I'm glad the hair is being removed at the root at least, otherwise it just grows back like crazy. |
