Take a look at the before and after pictures of Renewal RX atwww.zlabs.us/renewalrx.html They are the photos Winnie put up for use after she used JB's products. I did not think she would mind me showing this as she has put her photos up for everyone to see prior. Just scroll down a little bit and the photos are right there. If you right click over the photos and click on properties it takes you right to Janson Beckett. Winnie I did not give them the okay to use your photos and they are stating it is their products before and after pictures. I contacted them but it goes to show how some companies are completely fake. I just thought maybe enough people would see it and maybe contact that company and tell them that everone knows those photos and whom they belong to. This is not meant to offend anyone but I could not beleive they just stole our clinical photos. JB is coming out with 4 new items that are on our site but really not advertised yet. Once I start next week I am going to be giving FREE product of each and you can start calling JB whenever you want at 856-424-8018 to put in for the 100 each of our new day creams; one is a Alph lipoic day cream and one is a spf 40 moisturizing day cream along with our cellulite item called Profile. Again ask for Malina and we will just charge for shipping. Each person is entitled to 1 Free of each of the new items. You can find them on the drop down under buy products. Have a good evening everyone. |

Wow! Now that's cheeky (and illegal!). They're quite clever because they don't actually state that these are the photos from their product use, but seeing them on the site does imply that to visitors.
Not to mention, of course, that the company is violating copyright laws by using those images. I shall take great pleasure in emailing them shortly and pointing that out to them I'd like to see what they say when they realise that a whole public skincare forum is aware of them copying the images.... |

Ian is there any way you can add a watermark to the pics on your site? This would prevent others from "borrowing" them. I've seen this kind of thing happen loads of times - especially those cosmetic surgery sites - same pics over and over again.
Thanks for yet another free offer of your new products. I'm waiting on the Day Cream to arrive, but your Profile cream looks interesting [/i] |

I sent them an email about this yesterday - checked their site today and they are now using images from Avotone.com instead. I'm not sure if they cycle them or if they changed them because they got scared.
Anya's idea sounds good - there is indeed a way to watermark images. |

Thank you and I hope this stops them from using fake photos and give the consumer a good item instead of something just thrown together. Mabsy by the way I sent you all of our new items no charge and free shipping so you can try them and give your opinion on them. I thnk you are going to like them alot.
Always a Pleasure,
Ian

Ian is it possible to ship to Sweden?I've read great feedback about your products, so it would be interesting to try some. |

We ship anywhere but if you are going to buy while you are on EDS I would first ask them as you are on their site already. If they don't we will do it no problem.
Thanks,
Ian

You know, the really irritating thing about this is that they still now use someone else's photos (just not JB's anymore). But, regardless, someone out there in the wide world of the internet will buy this product (which may be good even, I don't know) based on photos from another product. That really sucks and I don't like that there is not much that we can do about it.
ps. Oh goodie! New products for me to try! Thank you very much Ian, I missed out on the previous offer while I was overseas. Much appreciated. |

Ian, is it possible to make the request by email for the products on offer? I live in Japan so have an opposite timezone (and hard to whisper a call in the middle of the night without waking DH up. ) |

Hi Ian,
I currently use 4 of your products everyday and I love them. I see an improvement every day. Also, I'm already on order for you new products. I've basically stopped using everything else, i.e., Skinceuticals, Dr. Brandt, Dr. Wexler, ReVive Volumizing Serum, to name just a few. Just thought you'd like to know.
Have a nice day,
Pat |

Ian, I have been trying to find out what happened to the creams I ordered. I gave my payment info to Malyna and she sent me a note saying it was on the way. I checked on it again on Aug. 5, this time no reply from anyone. Could you please check on this for me? I hate to do this publicly but there seems to be a problem somewhere. |

Hi Debbie - mine haven't arrived yet either but I'm sure they will. It might just take a while. Still, I think calling them would be the best option in order to track it down. I don't think Ian reads this thread.
Insterestingly, to update on the original topic of this thread, the site is still using Avotone pictures. Looks like we scared them off JB but I wonder when Avotone is going to figure this out...

I called JB earlier this week about shipments of the Day Cream and was told that none of the freebie orders had been shipped yet due to weather conditions. Apparently they are holding off until the temps cool down a bit as they are afraid the products will degenerate during shipping. |

Thanks Mabsy, glad to hear you haven't gotten yours either (that didn't sound right, did it? ) Anyway, I'm sure you're right, may take a while longer. I did call to check a few weeks ago and they said they'd get back to me. I love the few products I have tried, I'm sure I won't be disappointed when they finally do arrive! I'll be good for a while longer! |
