Hi everyone. I have a thin brown line that follows the outside contour of my lips. It looks like I am using a brown lip liner. I have heard that it is a sign of a vitamin deficiency.
Anyone have any ideas what this is and how I can get rid of it?
Thanks |

gaffer--i am not sure about the vitamin definciency part, but if you're worried about that, you should take a multi-vitamin supplement.
in the meanwhile, i was wondering if you apply sunscreen around your mouth area? i noticed a few freckles popping up on the outside skin around my lip area on the left side of my face, which i am sure is from driving in the sun to school. i have been more careful to apply sunscreen to that area as i think before i was ignoring it. i also apply lip balm with an spf throughout the day. i suggest you wear sunscreen if you don't already and to make sure you concentrate on the outlines of your lips. also you should probably reapply during the day as sunscreen around the nose, mouth, and chin area probably get rubbed off easily. also, use a vitamin c serum if you don't already.
you could also use a good lightening product around that area? i have heard that skinceuticals makes a good lightening serum, the phyto + gel.
