Okay, as if the #)(#$@($_@ weather isn't bad enough in NYC (with humidity so high one can slice it like a moist, semi-soft cheese) I find my self to be the queen of congested skin.
Here's a new thing I've been doing every morning, after cleansing: a 5-7 minute gentle steam of lavender, calendula and rose blossoms that opens up my pores. Then a mask if I have the time and Dr. Hauschka's clay thingy 2x a week. It's working but .... the routine is a
a bit intensive and I welcome any advice that could make my life easier.
Thanks! |

Hmmm....I never though of putting essential oils in the water when I steam my face. Does it help with the oiliness? If it does, I'd try it with ylang ylang oil. |

I thought pores do not open/close. From what I read, steam and hot water does nothing but swell and inflame the skin. |
