I'm considering either having a series of microdermabrasion treatments or aha peels (main skin concern: fine lines and texture).

Does anyone have any experience or advise about either? I'm trying to figure out which would yield the most results.

Many thanks in advance.

I had both experiences, AHA peels are more gentle, depends on the percentage of the glycolic acid...for the first time client may start from 30% plus u may need to use homecare product with glycolic in there. And I wouldnt sugguest Micro dermabrasion for someone who have sensitive skin, it is because they are more stronger, some people may feel allergy effect after the trt. Both of them need to wear sunscreen when they go out...otherwise that may cause more damage than before...

Yes summertime is a bad time to start these. I only spot treat during the summer because of the increased sensivity. I routinely do home AHA peels and I love the results on my skin. It is a trial and error process to find the right % and pH for your skin.

The only dermabrasion I do is using Epidermix and only on spots that are not inflammed or recently peeled.

I love the results that I get from peels-Immediate soft and glowing skin. I have done some microdermabrasion sessions at the derm's office and at home and have not been impressed with the results.
