Castor Oil is a main ingredient in a lot of eyelash growth products and some people who put it straight on their lashes see a noticable difference. I think it needs to go more on your scalp to get to the root, rather than the ends though. Not sure if this will work, but it won't hurt either, unless you're allergic to it like I think I am.....I found this out after I put it all over my lashes and went to sleep |

Oh my gosh! What ended up happening to your eyes???
And you just reminded me that the eyelash growth products like ardell are used on hair (duh ). I've had some hairs coming out right where my hair begins and it looks quite goofy I might add! I've been trying to smooth them down with gel/ cream/ mouse/ etc. but theyr'e all just temporary fixes. I think I'll start dabing my Ardell lash growth accelerator onto my scalp to speed up the process of those hairs getting a bit longer so they aren't sticking staight up in the air! Thanks for the reminder . |

Taking Zinc supplements will help your hair to grow a lot faster. |

I'm not totally sure that's what made me sick, but I don't have any other known allergies so I just assumed. My eye were kind of swollen and gross in the morning, like the pus from pink eye (sorry, I know it's nasty!) But it could just be my cat. I hope so, because castor oil seems very useful. |

massage few drops of olive and almond oil mix into scalp. And leave it overnight. Do this each time the night before washing hair. coconut oil is good also. I sometimes don't like the smell of it. |

I've been taking 1/2 tsp of MSM powder with added vitamin C twice a day for about six months now and my hair, which previously grew the average 3/4 inch every six weeks, now grows 1 1/8 to 1 1/4 inches in that time. MSM also benefits the finger nails. Previously my nails were soft and split constantly so I was unable to grow them. They are now long and strong, and I haven't had a break in at least four months. |

It may be purely coincidental, but I noticed that my hair and nails were growing more quickly (and generally were stronger and healthier looking) when I started eating lots of unsaturated fats like avocadoes and nuts. |

I thought olive oil retarded hair growth, there was a thread about how olive and castor oil cancel each other out in terms of stimulating/reversing hair growth??
I tried castor oil on my lashes, but doesn't seem to work at all, unlike Lucia/Ardell. Plus the castor oil I have is soooo sticky, it can barely penetrate into the skin. |
