Hi,
I am new to this forum! I was just wondering if there are any Hyperhydrosis sufferers on this forum?
I suffer with excessive sweating on the face as well as other parts of the body. I am experiencing problems with blackheads, whiteheads, spots, pimples and sometimes boils. I have large open pores on my nose and round my mouth. My skin is very oily and most skin products do not work. Sweating makes the skin worse and I get most of these problems on my forehead or cheeks.
The reason I am asking for help is because I will be talking to an ETB/ETS surgeon to consider operating on me, to cure my excessive sweating.
If there is anyone here is suffering in a similar way, am I wrong to think this is linked?.
I would like to get some replies.
Thanx

| Oh my! I have heard that Botox injections can be performed in the underarm area to alleviate sweating, but I am not sure whether this would help with excessive sweating for the face. I think that you are doing the right thing, consulting a medical professional about this. Once your medical problem has been solved, then we can look at helping you with the congestion that you are experiencing with your skin. Best wishes. |

I was considering surgery for my armpit sweating problem and almost went through with it. I read this book called Stop Sweating and Start Living. It was a life saver - I don't sweat any more. Unfortunately the book doesn't address hand sweat and the rememdy in the book doesn't work for hands - only underarms. My daughter and I have both used the technique in the book successfully. Not sure if you can get it on Amazon - I found it here which I think is the authors web site:
