There's a shampoo called Sunsilk anti-flat that got good reviews on MUA.
Sunsilk is offering free samples to Canada and the US right now (I found this info on EDS under free samples in the EDS lounge).
I found the site for you:

Pureology has a a volume shampoo that's pretty expensive (around $20 I think) but does it ever add volume!!!! If that's too much $$$ I've also found that Alba's Honeydew Hairwash gives me a pretty good boost. HTH! |

I agree that the Pureology Volume shampoo is very good. I also use their styling lotion which is like a non-stickey light gel .
Nothing really is helping at all in the humid weather pattern that we're in now . My hair is short-short, pancake flat, medium thickness & blonde fine so I sympathize with anyone dealing with somethng similar. The most body that it has is when I wake up in the morning and it's sticking out all over the place . |

I bought the Pureology last night and used it today and I love it! I used their mositure shampoo before and felt that it was too heavy but the volume one is GREAT!!!! Thanks! |

My mom has really fine hair and she's been using Nioxin shampoo & conditioner & treatment. Her hair looks fuller and healthier now. Here's the site.

also another tip is when you blowdry your hair... flip your hair backwards and blow dry it from the back |

Mastey does a good volumising one (sulphur free too which is a bonus).
Also, if you straighten your hair give it a lift at the roots. |

aquage uplifting foam - big barrell brush or rollers to lift your root- layers will help and won't weight your hair down so as to help with volumizing. Run your fingers through it and toussle throughout the day- its sexy:) |

yep - I admit it - I have lots of baby fine hair that goes flat the minute there is any humidity, or if it grows even 2cm longer.
My stylist suggested that I try a new drying technique (well - new to me at least). When drying, section your hair, and for the and then pull your blow brush a little way through your hair, then lift up and blow the roots. This creates a little "dent" at the roots and adds volume underneath. The other thing I do is when I finish blow drying, I lightly spritz some hair spray then poof my hair up and lightly spray again. It seems to hold it most of the day.
Hope that helps. |

Lush "big" shampoo is great for volume, but a tad drying. Excellent for giving a deep cleanse too due to the salt crystals inside. |

I agree that Lush's Big is good for volume. It also cuts through a lot of the "product" that I use. I use Big about every ten days or so as a clarifying shampoo. It's a little too strong for frequent use. |
