Yes I have had that done many times. I had very bad veins on my face and neck. It works very well. My condition is more or less heriditary so they will come back to some extent. But there are very few at this time. It took about 6 treatments to do my whole face and neck. I started about 3 years ago and finished those six treatments about 1 year and 3 months later. Since then I go about once every 6 months and have what I may have done. My doctor is great and if I do not have a lot on my face we switch to my legs and now they are looking much better. He gives great deals on packages! On your face a benifit or at least I was told this by my doctor, is that your skin seems to produce more collegen starting a few months after the laser treatments and continues for a long time. My over all skin tone is great. Hope that helps. |

I used to have so many broken capillaries on my face it used to look like a road map! I had one IPL laser treatment which got rid of them all. I do find that some of the more persistent veins around the nose tend to come back but I have had subsequent treatments on them. IPL really works and I thoroughly recommend it - it is also supposed to be good for encouring the production of collagen beneath the skin. |
