I have been using DHC for quite some time and i have to say i am totally happy with it. The problem is that it's the only cleansing oil i have used and since i like variety, i was wondering if there are any other good ones out there. I don't want to go from excellent to bad or mediocre though. I have been curious about fancl, kose, and shu uemura. Any input would be great, thanks! |

I love Shu Uemura Cleansing Beauty Oil Premium A/O (the green one)! Have tried their clear and yellow ones but they're not as good as the green one. Tried a few sachets of DHC but am not impressed. |

I have tried Shu gold, DHC but my favorite is Kanebo. I have been using it for about 3 years now and it has become my HG. |

I really like this one too! I was a bit suprised at first because I haven't had any luck with Dermalogica cleansers so far ...but this one is fab I how it turns into a milky emulsion when you wet your face & the fact that it leaves my face super smooooth even after I've used a foaming cleanser!
But I really wanted to try the Decleor cleansing oil so I have just ordered one & I'll see how I go with it |

I've liked Babor's the best so far. Having said that, I have the Dermalogica on the way for me to try |

I have tried the Kanebo and the Shiseido and liked both. I am new to cleansing oils so I am still in the "wanting to try them all phase" too. I plan on trying the Kose one and several others. I believe tiger_tim said that the Shu one has one of the myristates that is supposed to be very comedogenic so I will not be trying that. I have tried samples of the DHC and while I don't like it because of the olive oil smell I can say that the Kanebo and Shiseido are as good as the DHC. |

I haven't found a cleansing oil I didn't like. For me they have all worked equally well, but of course we all have our personal preferences as far as the scent. Currently I am just finishing up a full size bottle of MAC Cleanse Off oil and have really enjoyed it. But...I will probably try something else next. |

that being said, i am still confused, there's a lot of good ones out there! |

I really like the Shiseido cleansing oil, but still need to use it twice to completely get off my sunscreen. |

I just got my Decleor one in the post & tried it straight away...& I have to say WOW I really like it already. I the herbal scent, which almost reminds me of English Breakfast tea or something similar I didn't find it left an awful oily residue on my skin & like the Dermalogica one it turns into a milky like emulsion when you wet your face. I actually think I prefer this one over the Dermalogica one, which was starting to make my eyes sting a bit the last couple of times I used it |

I have La Vitton's cleansing oil too and I really like it. It smells gorgeous, that's my favorite part. The only other cleansing oil I've used are of the homemade variety, but I currently use Burts Bees Orange Essence cleanser in place of cleansing oil (usually). Like someone else said, there really isn't one I have tried/(or in my case...made) that I didn't like! |

I love DHC cleansing oil and I heard many good things about kenabo cleansing oil.
I tried Shu uemura cleasing oil and it is not my favorite. I use home made version as well and I think my home made cleasing oil is better than shu uemura cleasing oil |

Did anybody try Rose Hip Seed Cleanser from DianneYvonne.com. It looks like a cleansing oil and quite inexpensive.
Ingredients: Purified Water, Olive Oil Castile, Vegetable Glycerine, Rose hip See Oil, Essential oils, Seaweed Extract. |

I didn't try it but I did look at it yesterday. It sounds like a regular cleanser but not a cleasing oil. The note saying that it contains 70 essential oils turns me off. What the hack are 70 essential oils doing here in a cleanser?

Clinique's Take the Day off Cleansing balm is a solidified oil cleanser ..... you smooth it all over...eye area too and then when you add water it goes milky and rinses away completely.
I am not generally a huge Clinique fan as such...but heard good things about this one and it really is very good! |

Thanks for the review, there's a good Clinique GWP on at the moment where I am so I might give this product a try. The only problem is that it comes in a jar I think & I really don't like cleansers in jars |

Yeah...it is a big squat purple jar... I feel that way too but I always use a spatula and just pull out a scoop onto the back of my hand and smooth it on from there, it has lasted agesssss and is still very hygenic that way.
Love GWP's too.... I have been very tempted with both Dior's and Estee Lauder's current ones here in Adelaide, South Australia. It makes it worthwhile. Last Clinique GWP I got by purchasing the Take the Day off Cleansing Balm and the new Repairwear Foundation (very nice!) together. Give it a try |
