Interesting to see if the pop produced over here (the article is about India) would test like. Knowing the marketplace with our luck they'd charge us more for pop which have the pesticides removed |

Yick. I can't drink pop anyway. It makes me burp for hours on end. |

I'm not a pop drinker either, but I saw a program on bottled water a few months ago, and most brands had pesticides in them too! Some actually had more chemicals and pesticides than tap water! I was very surprised to hear that! A lot of the chemicals were coming from the plastic bottles themselves (which are manufactured with toxic chemicals) and were leaching all kinds of crap into the water! It seems nothing is really safe nowadays! |

I always refuse to believe news items that paint big corporations as the devil. And I don't believe that everything «organic» or «natural» has all the qualities claimed. I prefer balance and scientific proof. Hey, that's the way I am. |

I can't give up my bottled water. I've heard these things too, but we have well water which is way worse than bottled water (it can actually rot your teeth, depending on the different levels of minerals it contains-- ours is relatively safe, but I hate the way it tastes). Plus, since it's portable, I drink more.
I don't drink out of plastic cups, though, unless I'm served beverages that are in them at a restaurant. |
