Hi everyone,

I have one horizontal line between my eyes from blowing my nose due to my allergies. unfortunately, it's a year round thing and i just started noticing this line about a few months ago. i tried to apply more moisturizer on the line, but it won't go away. any suggestions for products to use to help (besides botox Confused )? thanks! also, i am not taking an allergy medicine cause it's not that bad really. but should i?

skincareaddicted, I have the same problem too. Wink But mine is not a definite line, but rather a few very very fine lines which are not quite noticeable (but I notice them anyway). When I raise my brows they're gone.

I know I'm not being helpful but just let you know you're not alone. Razz

aw, CK, so sweet of you. mine goes away when i raise my eyebrows too, but then that creates forehead wrinkles. it sucks not being able to make all these expressions i otherwise would want to! Laughing

Aside from teaching yourself not to make the expression, you could get Botox or use a wrinkle-relaxer like Relax Vialox to decrease your ability to make the expression.

Retin-A/Retinol/C serums will thicken that skin so maybe the line will be fainter - you won't be able to make a crease that "stays" if your skin is more elastic/thicker.

To reduce the "look" of it, using a highlighter on it like YSL's Touche Eclat will cause light to be reflected away from the line and then it will be harder to see.

I tried to figure out exactly which expression is giving me those lines and discovered that my major problem is that I yawn a lot. So I teach myself to open my eyes when yawning (looks ridiculous I know Laughing ) and hope the lines won't deepen with time. Razz

betterat40--botox is out of the question for me at this point, i am 25, if i start now, who knows what i might end up looking like! michael jackson comes to mind Laughing joking aside, i am currently using a c serum and have been thinking of retin a actually. thanks for the advice! i am gonna look into it for the crease.

CK--the pains we go through for youth! Very Happy
