I realize this is a little premature, but a few minutes ago I cleaned my face and decided to take out a few blackheads. Well, I wasn't using a method that I usually use (which is steaming my face up) because the blackheads looked like they were about to pop out. And they did! The problem is that now, looking at my nose (and believe me, this could be my imagination. I have a Norwegian nose on the front and a Jewish nose on the side. It's not exactly tiny.) my pores are red. Not only that, but the front of my nose looks just HUGE. Will this go away? I mean, I'm pretty objective about the size of my nose but man... It's pretty big right now. Please help, I'm freaking out! |

Hey CitrusLike,
I think the slight swelling should go down rather quickly. I do that sometimes too (when I'm lazy) and the red marks and any swelling go away quite quickly. I tend to use toner in such situations, though I'm not sure if that's the best way to go.
You could put a cold compress over it to speed it up maybe?

could try working an an ice cube over the area to take out the redness. |

you could put a mask over your face like Michael Jackson does here in the states;
just kidding.
You'll be fine shortly with less blackheads:) |
