If there are, would any of you be interested in getting together for a "get to know you"?
I've lived in the area (Annapolis now Catonsville) for 2 years but haven't met too many people since I travel for work and have a home office. My cats know me fairly well, though, since we do share office space. 
I'm 40, single w/2 grown children living away from the area (I'm originally from Chicago).

Aw, I'd be happy to meet up with a fellow cat and "Firefly" fanatic, but I think I live just a wee bit too far away across the ocean in England, I'm afraid.
I think you're going to have to move over to the West Coast - everyone seems to live there! |

Ha! No way, José! I had a boyfriend in the San Francisco area who wanted me to relocate but I said, "Nope". It's too overpriced and would prevent me from spending $$ on skincare & makeup!!!
The next time I'm over (thinking November, possibly, so it'll be super craptastic weather), we'll have to set aside some time to meet up for lunch or a pub visit.
What do you say fellow fuzz-ball-appreciating Browncoat? |

I guess I'm taking your thread "hostage" or whatever they call it, but for some reason when I saw your name, I assumed you were in Canada. I don't really know why..... 
Also, I saw your pic in the Mandelic Acid thread, and I thought you were 33ish; your skin looks very young! |

It's (almost) always super craptastic (love that description) weather over here anyway. It's not just a November thing.
And yep, just let me know when and where you'll be over here and, as long as I can get there, I'd love to meet up. The words "pub" and "food" always sound good to me. (Although if you added "chocolate", that'd even better.)  |

Sushi, it's probably because I'm channeling my mom's Canadian * spam *. Or maybe because I have a boy-interest in Montréal...  Hard to say and you're a sweetheart for the compliment! I'm really working hard on my skin right now so we shall see what the Dr. Scalawaggirl ends up looking like after the experiment has finished! Mwwwwahhhhahhhahhah!
MajorB, if you noticed on the choccie thread, I do not like much it so am happy to offer it as enticement for our visit. Isn't that nice of me to give away something I don't like?  |
