Um, Ill take them!
I heard that Jlo had a lip reduction to make her look less "ethnic". I think thats silly, why would anyone want to look just like everyone else? Flaunt your big lips girl, there are probably so many women who are envious of you and you dont even realize it! |

I hated my big lips when I was growing up; now I consider them my best feature Although, I still won't wear bright colored lipsticks or plumpers |

I am SO glad to have been blessed with full lips. I've always been happy about them. I have to be careful with certain lip colours and liners but I like the more natural look anyway which works great on full lips. This way it also lets me dress up my eyes more which I think are my best feature and still not look too madeup. I've had many friends who wished they had full lips too. Just think of how everyone adores Angelina Jolie's pouty look. Don't feel bad about this feature. And I agree with Violetanne - men do love juicy lips. They make the best kissers. LOL So just Embrace them and pout away. |

Yeah with my full lips I can't wear bright red. I've always wanted to, i think it's sexy, but i would feel way to self-conscious about it. It's like shouting for attention to yourself. The only time i plucked up the courage to wear traffic-light-red lipstick was during Halloween when i dressed up as a geisha girl 5 years ago. Sigh. |

I have pretty big lips too, but I like them. Got something that a lot of people would like! |

dollbird,
I have tiny lips and try all kinds of plumpers, and I can't bring myself to wear red lipstick either! |

Lol cloud_9, i totally hear ya. It does take some guts to pull off a red pout. It's so pretty though, i see it on all the fashion mags for fall...a bare face with red lips. Oh well. |

darker colors make the lips look smaller. i notice scarlett johnasson looks lovely with deep red lipstick, but i find her lips look a little weird when she wears nude colors. also keep to lipsticks, since glosses make lips appear bigger.
I know it seems everyone wants plumper lips, but i did see a special on tv where this girl had lips that were tooo big. root1979--i doubt yours are insanely large or anything, we're usually all a little more critical of ourselves than others are. |

A co-worker of mine also had her lips minimized a couple of years ago. I guess not everyone likes large lips! As far as Anjelina's lips go, my brother in law, and nephew both think her lips are too lumpy and deeply lined to be attractive. I have heard other men say this as well. I think it's all relative. I would pay $$$ for a lip-plumper if it worked. Unfortunately none of them have worked on me so far. I love full lips! My idea of the perfect lips are Jessica Alba's (or Mabsy's), plump but smooth. |
