Last week I got a weird email from some guy; all it said was: Rikki, I saw your portfolio, then I sent this email, now it's your turn.
Kinda weird, but I'm a graphic designer and it's def not the strangest I've received about a job; art people are different...to say the least.
The first thing I thought to respond with was this dumb joke my friend told me at 4:00 in the morning that I thought was the funniest thing ever at the time. So I did, also writing that I have no clue who he is, and didn't really have anything to lose by telling it. I really wasn't expecting a reply, but he totally thought it was funny and showed my personality, so now they're calling this afternoon to work out a freelance arrangement!
If you're still reading this long post, I'm sure you're just dying to read this joke, so here it goes......
A man is sitting at a bar and a pirate walks in with a wheel in his pants. The man stares at him for a minute and finally asks, "Hey, pirate, is that a wheel in your pants!?"
The pirate replys, "Aye, it's driving me nuts." |
