Avene is a very good choice for sensitive skin. |

Have you checked out the book, "The Skin Type Solution"? It talks about dry, sensitive skin types and makes specific product recommendations. |

LaRoche Posay is a very calming moisturizer and my "go to" product is Cetephil. Eucerin has one too...I bought it for my mom...she gets the red cheeks all the time. She said she likes it but she is not as judgemental as me. Here is the link.. http://www.eucerinus.com/products/face_err_dailylotion.html |

If your skin is dry, u should give Ole henriksen's nuture me a try. Its very smoothing, not a lite creme but very nice in winter for my combo skin |

I have read "The Skin Type Solutions." But I'm not sure if I'm convinced. What does everybody think about the book or the author? |

I read that book and tried a LOT of the products she recommended for my skin. I did not find any that worked for me. |

Which product in the Avene line would you suggest?
Thanks. |

A few to consider for your dry, reactive skin: Babor Calming Sensitive Day Cream, B Kamins Menopause Skin Cream, Decleor Aromessence Rose D Orient for Reactive and Sensitive Skins & Decleor Harmonie Gentle Soothing Cream, Dr Hauschka Rose Day Cream, Sothys Immuniscience Sensitive Skin Cream, Phytomer Soothing Skin Cream, or Pevonia RS2 Rosacea Care Cream. |

I'm not convinced either. As for the moisturiser suggestion - mine would be Barefoot Botanicals SOS Cream. |

Hi. It's an ugly name but created by a Miami dermatologist. I'd read about it in a few beauty magazines a few years ago & have been buying it ever since. My dermatologists nurse swears by all the Aveeno lotions. I also really like the Kinerase Cream, but it's very expensive. |
