I know that PSF is offering a free gift with a purchase of this product on their website. It's a free blush. But I haven't tried this product as I just saw it 2 days ago surfing the PSF site. |

Looks interesting...when I'm done with my pumpkin stuff it's pretty likely I'll try this...so I'll have to remind myself in about 6 months! |

I love the ingredients in this product - lots of organics. I may have to try this when my Green Apple peel runs out, just for a change! Or maybe just order them both!? |

Hi! I'm new here but I use PSF!!! I've been checking out to see what everyone else is using. I bought this Microdermabrasion (spelled?) cream as soon as it came out in our Day Spa and OMG did my skin feel so nice..soft and smooth! I have used so many different brands unsuccessfully as I'm super sensitive (acne prone)so I was hesistant. I liked the EL one, it heats up when you use it, but after the second time I was finding my skin irritated. Probably from all the perfumes and chemicals? So far I've done this one several times and no reation. I am hoping continued use will help with my age/sunspots. Where did you see the free gift though? I didn't get a free blush with mine I wouldn't loved one!
Can't wait to see what anyone else thinks about this cream!
Thanks!

Do you guys think this would be better than the pumpkin peel? |

I don't know if it would be "better." Only because I don't use the pumpkin peel since it was too strong for my sensitive skin. But I have to tell you, I LOVE this stuff. I've now been using it long enough to say it is fantastic. I highly recommend it. You have to get used to the abrasiveness of the crystals and make sure you wash it all off as it tends to be hard to get off completely (as do other brands I've tried) but the payoff is that my skin feels so soft, just like a rose petal, that I have to remind myself that I can't over do it by using it too often! Plus I started using MMU now and found my loose minerals go on so much nicer now that I've got my skin nice and smooth. What I like best is that it doesn't leave my skin "red" afterwards or dry, it actually feels as if it moisturizes it oddly enough. And I also like that it doesn't really have any scent.

Thanks, doodlebug. I just ordered a bunch of samples from PSF and this was one of 'em. Hopefully I'll like this as much as you do! |

Thank you for a review, Doodlebug. I got 2 sample size laying in my draw, but I was too chicken to try it. Now I just might... |

Can somebody compare this product to Epidermix? |

I wonder why the instructions say "Do not press crystals into face'? |

I think it's just good advice. I remember the first time I used Epidermx I pressed too hard on the product and made my face quite raw. |

I too was a bit chicken, only because my skin has such issues that I was expecting either a major breakout afterwards or that my skin would look all red like it did with the other two brands and because I had no luck with the Pumpkin Peel. I had the stuff a few days before I mustered up the courage to try it out and am very glad I did. I hope your results are as good as mine. And let me tell you, this is a big jar for the money! It should last me forever considering the small amount needed!
Also, if this helps, I remembered reading somewhere on-line that you have to start inward and work out in circular motions (to replicate the actual professional treatment I guess.) I try, but I am sure I'm still doing it wrong, due to my lack of patience, but am still quite happy with the results!LOL!
The first brand I tried was Estee Lauder. It's not so rough but all the other junk in it left me irrated. The second one I tried was Epidermx 11 which I got from my girlfriend who bought some system on ebay but didn't want. It was so rough to me, like spreading broken glass on my face...literally. But I can't afford expensive treatments and that's why I was glad to have had the PSF recommended to me. Although now you can see why I was so reluctant to try it. That's why I wanted to share with you guys because when I finally find something that works I am so excited to spread the good news !
Oh, and I would think you wouldn't even want to "press" any of these crystal type products into your skin. They probably say this because like Molly mentioned, some people might not realize that you don't need to rub so hard and actually end up hurting themselves..ouch!!! I can't emphasize enough that you only need a little bit and really don't need to press in the PSF stuff to get it to work! |

Great Review, doodlebug

You skin didn't get red or irritated at all?
I have a very important meeting on Thursday, so I am a little bit (well A LOT actually ) worried to try something new. |

the new Epidermx verion EpidermxII is 10 times gentler than the original Epidermx ... i also felt the old version was very gritty. The new verion is much better and i can use it everyday and the result has been wonderful. I'll try the PSF one next to compare. |

oops I goofed guys! I was talking to my girlfriend and what I had was probably the original Epidermx not the new one (11) so it may be much better. I didn't realize they came out with something else...hopefully it's less abrasive, sounds like it from what hendricks says.
Anyhow, Shantell, that's a toughy having a meeting and all tomorrow. I'd probably wait until the weekend to try it if you have senstive skin like me. I never do something new when I know I have to be seen..just incase! I'd just feel bad if it made you red. But honestly it does not make me red a bit. I'm telling you, just takes that dullness away and brightens me up. It's addicting and I just count the days to use it again!
You should definately try it but remember it does feel a bit rough so go gently and be sure to rinse it all off completely. I've done it both at night and in the morning before putting on my makeup and either works for me. I think most people would do it at night before bed but I'm so tired that I'm lucky to just wash my face and slap on some moisturizer!
Let me know if you try it and how it works for you!
