I just noticed that hydracool has B5 in it. Where have I been. Isn't that not supposed to be suitable for rosecea?

I don't know and I hope someone else can respond. I do remember that it is a good ingrediant to add to your skincare. Very Happy

I thought it was supposed to trigger rosecea or something. Otherwise, I think it would be good. Anyone have any input?

I don't know B5 is bad for skin...but I know that is all hydracool is about, nothing special. It will just leave a sticky feeling on your face. That's why I am not a big fan of hydracool.

razinkane let me first say that I am not a rosecea expert and I may very well be wrong on this. However, I believe that it is Viamin B3 (niacin) that is not suitable for those with rosecea. I have never heard that Vitamin B5 is bad for rosecea.

I remember loving HydraCool... (never had a sticky feeling) but now I am using just plain HA + couple drops of Emu Oil and loving it as much if not more.... It sinks into skin immediately!
Sorry, I can't comment on B5.

Thanks for that. I got a little confused. I have been using it for about three weeks, I think, and stopped two days ago afraid it would worsen my reddening, which has happened to look a little better, even though I HAD been using the hydracool. Does that make sense? I never even looked at the ingredients before getting it, just happened to be "surfing" and saw it.

I have rosacea and have been using hydracool for well over a year. It does not contain the niacin which can trigger rosacea "flushing". I love it!

c4ward, I got @ http://www.dianayvonne.com.
You can get a sample first to see how you like it. I am using Clear Emu Oil with vit. E & pretty satisfied so far... but with my next order I planning to get sample of ULTRA Emu Oil & see if I notice & like the diffrence.

I had to stop using the hydracool, maybe I overused it, dunno, but I had badly irritated skin which is unusual. I'm told that menthol can be irritating.

I had a sample of Hydracool and I never even finished the sample because it really irritated my skin. Not surprising though since my skin reacts to so many things. Sad
