I'm interested also.
I would love to hear some reviews on IS Clinical firming cream. Does it work? |

If you don't mind drugstore brands, RoC protient lift is actually very good and was one of the first to use DMAE which is good for firming.
I've been experimenting with various dmae serums and so far the kripps silk is the best, though I'm getting a sample of IN dmae 3% serum soon. I hope I don't like it cos at $50 a half ounce it's a bit pricey! |

Hi quapagirl,I"m using up the last of my Kripps Silk.I have been looking at their Skin Joy Lotion, have you tried that? What others have you tried?
And Garden of Wisdom has DMAE now and also Mandelic. Oh my,so many choices and so few money.
I have just started to read Perricones, book. The Wrinkle Cure.
Ahau,If you need skin tightening, maybe you could try another brand. It has helped me.
And I hope it can help you also.

| I've used Decleor Vitaroma Lift Total Neck & Decollete Gel-Cream for the past year and like the result. I used to use the gel but it has been discontinued; saddly I noticed more of a difference with the gel than the new gel-cream. I've gotten a bit lazy with this product so perhaps I would see more if I used it regularly?? |

I think that with firming ceams you are pretty much getting a cosmetic effect. Cosmetically RoC does work, Kripps silk also works (sorry skincareaddict, haven't tried GOW or skin joy, only the two above and the psf spray).
At may age, I'm happy with just cosmetic effect. |

| I have used IS Firming Cream on and off for over a year and I think it did work somewhat, but I don't know what the best one is available on the market now. |

there are tons of them..
I am using valmont regenera I cream. Clarins extra firming line also works well for me.
Good comments are heard from SK II lift serum, La mer lifting serum, Glycel etc. Almost all brands have the line for firming concerns. |

Skincare I do have a bunch of Valmont samples that I haven't tried yet. As for the Clarins I am reluctant to try any of their products because almost all of the ones that I have tried irritated my skin. Besides I am happy to report that I do not have much that needs to be firmed!!
I would tend to agree with some of the others who have posted that the results of these creams are probably temporary and mostly cosmetic. I don't know much about DMAE, so I have no opinion on that. I would think that the creams that would do the best job of firming are the ones that contain ingredinets that increase collagen production. Ingredients such as retinoids/retinol/retinaldehyde, Vitamin C and AHAs are known to do this. HTH |
