Does this stuff look like makeup when on, or can you not even tell? And does in blend in evenly and easily with skin or is it tricky to get your skin tone even with it? Does it sweat off easy?

Any experience with it, especially the lighter colors I'm guessing as i'm fairskinned.

I liked the texture - very natural.
I used it is Nude as I am fair (I think Porceline is the lightest).
The thing I didn't like about it is that they promote it as 20 spf but it is only uvb protective not uva.

it's very natural and gives ur face a nice radiant glow, but then since it's a tinted moisturizer, it doesn't give a lot of coverage

overall it is a very nice tinted moisturizer and i've been using it for several years now

After almost a year of lurking around, I finally signed up and am actually posting. I love this forum!

I adore the LM tinted moisturizer. I'm a little bit darker than you, I think, and use the Almond shade, but my fairer friends (with all different skin types, mind you) have all had great results. It's great that this has sun protection, but I usually apply my Clarins spf 40 before applying this moisturizer. The coverage is light, it is easy to apply and everyone always asks why my skin is glowing. The sunscreen acts as a simple primer, then the tinted moisturizer, then a very light dusting of sheer powder makes my skin look like something I've only imagined it could possibly be. Truly great. HTH!

This might be a stupid question, but can you use tinted moisturizer on oily skin? im tempted to buy but don't want to fry an egg on my face.

I think so.
If you find it too oily you vcould apply a mattifying lotion underneath maybe.

I've just read that they do an oil free version now.

Thanks Emma! Will check that one out. With summer being almost over, a tinted moisturizer seems a viable option for my combo skin.

i used this once at my friend's house when i slept over. i think she had the tint in medium. i think the moisturizer is ok, the texture is a bit creamy, not as easy to spread as my beloved japanese sunscreens, but not incredible difficult to deal with either. the protection was spf 15, so i didn't care much for it as i prefer at least a 30.

i would say, it's a good sunscreen minus the low protection, it made my skin feel comfortable enough, though it reminded me of applying a foundation.

And I thought lurking for half a year before
posting is record Razz !! Welcome to the forum wave . I second your review on the LM tinted moisturizer. I use 'nude' which looks very natural. Think it is great for weekends.

i really like this stuff too. i've had bad experience with pricey tinted moisturiser that makes my skin feel like it's been dragged down all day.
this one wins my vote. love the lightness Smile

dollbird - The Oil-Free version is fantastic. A light dusting of translucent powder (I use the Dr Hauschka one) helps to set it so it lasts longer on the skin and stays matte.

I use the LM Primer, Tinted Moisturizer and Powder. I love foundation so this is one of MANY in my makeup collection but I have to say it is one of my favorites. The coverage is great without being a foundation and it is easy to apply because it glides right on then drys to a nice finish. I have oily summer skin and it did feel a little greasy when the humidity climbed to 80% but I dont think anything would have felt nice on my skin at that point. I love the primer too...I use it with all my foundations. I bought the oil free one in Sand.

Hope you love it as much as I do, dollbird. I actually switched from my beloved MMU to the Laura Mercier Oil-Free Tinted Moisturiser and definitely don't regret it.

majorb, what shade are you presently using? Do you find it turning orange on you (as so many ppl on MUA have)? Also, did you have any complaints about the MMU brand you were previously using? Thanks, and hope you don't mind so many questions Razz

Has anyone had any luck with her primer. Is it something you can wear on its own to make you skin look smooth and flawless, like the peter thomas roth, which I lost. I need a replacement and still haven't found one. This one looks good.

OK i finally tried this. While I love the way it made my skin look when i first put it on (beautiful finish, flawless, creamy, radiant skin), it turned orange on me in 2 hours. I also did not like its strong sunscreeny smell. This product had so much potential...its consistency is like a medium coverage foundation. but did not work out for me. Sad I guess i'm going back to MMU, which i find is easier to apply.

I tried this LM TM in Nude also, and I didn't care for it. It felt a bit thick putting it on, and after a few hours I could see it sitting on my skin, like too much foundation. I prefer a more sheer TM. Also, the Nude was a tad too dark for me and I think it's their lightest color (the Rep chose it for me).
