Is there any way of incorporating the oils into the toner, without adding anything fancy/chemically?
Thanks! |

Hi ArtTeacher!
You can just add a few drops of whatever essential oils best suit your skin's needs.
I myself add some tea tree oil and some lemon EO... they add properties that my blemished prone skin needs and helps to mask the awful smell of the vingear!
There is a good thread about "oils for the face" which you can look through to see which EO's would work best for your skin!
I make my ACV toner in small batches that last about 2 weeks each, so this gives me room to play around with different levels/types of EO's without being too wasteful!
hope this helps! |

I have been using ACV for a while now, with essential oils. My question is whether you can do anything to incorporate the oils into the mixture, rather than having them float on top? Shaking it works fine, but if it were blended, that would be even better! |

oh, I see what your saying now!
I keep my toner in the fridge, and I find that if I give my bottle a good shake before I put it in initially it stays a pretty homogomous throughout, but when I forget to put it back in the fridge I find it separates again.
Perhaps you could add some sort of emulsifer (not exactly sure what that could be) to help keep it mixed... but then it might be taking away from the toner qualities of it and turn it more into a cleanser?!
I think your best bet is to just keep on shakin' it... sorry, I know that was not the answer you were looking for! |
