What a great site full of valuable info! I'm in need of some advice on skin care products. I am 35 and have developed some dark sun spots and broken capillaries on my face and chest over the past 5 years. I've tried a ton of drugstore products that haven't worked. My friend uses SkinCeuticals Serum 20 and says her skin is more even and clear. Would this help me? If not... any ideas?? Thanks! Kellie |

Hi:
I would suggest you email the aestheticians at this email address. aestheticians@essentialdayspa.com
Tell them your skin type and what you need help on. They will reply to you on suggestions. You can then search the products on this forum for reviews on the products. Hope this helps. |

Thanks! FYI.... Here is what was suggested for my sun-damaged skin: Skinceuticals/Primacy: C+E Serum (am) followed by Hydra B-5 Gel, Phyto + Corrective Gel, Emollience Moisturizer, Renew Overnight N-Dry, and Ultimate UV Defense SPF 30. I plan to try 1 or 2 products to start and will report back the results...

I am glad EDS was able to help. Make sure when you order from them to ask for some samples. I have already ordered from them a couple time and also requested on some samples I read reviews on from this forum. Do let us know what you think on the products you brought. |

I've been using the Skinceuticals Serum 20 and Phyto+ on the right half of my face and neck everyday for the past 3 months. I did this to see the true results in comparison with the untreated other side of my face.
Results: overall smoother skin, smaller pores, broken blood vessels seemed to retreat/fade a little bit, but no real change in sun spots/freckles/age spots, no real change in fine lines.
I think that this is a great product combo for overall skin texture improvement, but I did not see any improvement in the areas that I was hoping for... sun damage.
I've decided to take it to the next level and have just purchased a handheld IPL machine, estetician grade. It should be here tomorrow. I'll follow-up again with the results. |
