I have been doing some research on Lush products and came across many pros and cons. I don't know what to think because even though I knew they are not completely natural, I always thought that they are at least better than many other companies. What do u think? |

Their products contain some natural ingredients, but they also contain parabens and sodium laureth sulphate. I also think they are highly fragranced. |

i went through a Lush phase a couple years ago. if you have the money, its fun to try all the stuff.. and plus they usually give samples of almost anything you ask for. i find a lot of their products hit and miss.. but i like their bath products (the only thing i continue to buy from them) |

To me they are just like nasty chemically commercial products pretending to be 'handmade' to get the high price tag. I have a local shop that sells real handmade soaps etc using traditional ingrdients and oils and it is half the price of Lush. Plus I can't even walk past the place because of the smell which makes me feel nausious: I wish they'd just go out of business! |

Hello!
Regard Lush soaps, I also belong to a handmade soapmaking forum and I was told that the Lush soaps are "Melt & Pour" soaps, which are premade bases using synthetic detergents. They are not handmade. |

Some of their products are totally natural though (or mostly natural) like the biofresh face masks, which you have to keep in the fridge otherwise the natural ingredients go off.
If you get their catalogue, it lists ingredients for everything they sell, and it highlights which are natural, and which are synthetic. |
