I was just wondering. I am finding this forum my lifeline at the moment and I wondered if there were any other moms out there who do the same thing. It just seems so isolating to deal with toddlers and babies all day long with little adult interaction. I love my job but it can get a little lonely at times! |

Right there with ya. I think this is the first time since I was 16 that I didnt have a "job". I get excited about going to the grocery store just to have some human interaction. |

Oh my gosh! You don't even want to see my house right now!! My laundry is never-ending. That's what gets me down sometimes. I work my butt off doing all these things that just get undone in a few hours! I love taking care of my boys and I especially love not having a nine to five job but this part of the job is frustrating. I never seem to be on top of it all and I feel like I don't have much to show for all the hard work I do. I know that's not really true but it sure feels like it sometimes!
The budget is also a tough one. We really have to penny pinch because we are on just one income. It seems we are ALWAYS over-budget and it's always in the areas of the budget I have control over. That's hard for me! I work so hard to save money but I still haven't found the right formula.
I feel like I'm being all negative! Sorry! I just am a little pent up lately.
My boys are 5 (he just started kindergarten), 3 and, now, 11 weeks. They are so full of energy so they keep me on my toes! |

Mom of two kids here (ages 6 and 3.) I agree about the forum being a nice opportunity for some adult interaction. I've lurked on some other forums over the years, but as the people here are so nice, this was the first board I felt that I could really commit to.
Keep up the good work! |

I have a 2 year old and a 15 yr old, both in the rebellious stage and I feel I am always arguing. I also live in the Midwest and the winters here are enough to make you crazy. This forum really got me through some boring months last year. |
